| Executive Director of Education MSc, BA(Hons), Dip H&Comm, RN, A&E Cert, ATCC (i), MEO, CMEC, Certified Coach Louise Hicks is a Registered Nurse, qualified teacher and certified executive coach. She has 28 years experience working with and for the NHS and higher education as a clinician, academic and manager. She has a passion for developing and inspiring positive leadership and has a reputation for empowering individuals and teams to stretch their potential, transform services and make an impact. She joined Nationwide Healthcare Services as a partner and the Executive Director of Education in 2010 following her role as the Associate Dean for Business Development & Enterprise at a London University. She has researched and gained experience of healthcare practice, education, management and leadership in the USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Europe and brings this to her development work, coaching and project management. She has published work in peer reviewed clinical journals and has degrees in Nursing and Education, a higher degree in Civil Emergency Management and has studied postgraduate Business Law. She has developed national curricula for specialist undergraduate and postgraduate activity and has been the Head of Adult Nursing, Director of Continuing Professional Development and has served on numerous professional, advisory and governing bodies. Executive Director of Operations MSc, SBStJ, ALS(i) Paul was recruited to the company from his role as Director of Operations. He has a 27 year background within the hospital and pre hospital environment as a Senior Officer and manager with a professional background as a Paramedic, Emergency Planner, Senior Resuscitation Service Manager and Site Co-ordination Manager. He has a clear insight into the operational and strategic demands of the contemporary health services within the public and commercial sector. As the Emergency Planner for the London Ambulance Service he was responsible for the co-ordination of services at major incidents and events. Paul has led and managed transformational service delivery projects. He is a pragmatic project leader and dynamic facilitator. He is an accredited Advanced Life Support Director and Instructor and has spent part of his career within Higher Education as a Lecturer in Paramedic and Resuscitation Studies. He has published work in risk management and was awarded the Order of St. John in the Queen’s New Year honours for his services to Major Incident management. |
