The Nationwide Healthcare Services Nurse Executive Development Scheme© works with senior nurse managers and leaders to really harness competence and confidence in leading the modern NHS.

We use a framework of 12 individual coaching sessions integrated with a range of key activities that develop specific areas of the nurse leader’s objectives. Each programme has a set of core activities which are complimented with individually designed learning tools that truly focus on individual requirements.

Contemporary professional frameworks of leadership qualities within modern healthcare are integrated with international coaching tools and activities that really build core individual strengths and impact on positive behaviours.

We work with you to determine your specific aims and aspirations and build areas of strength to genuinely promote positive impact on life and professional success.

The concept of working between operational, tactical and strategic thinking, direction and activity is explored alongside a very real development of skills in the following:

The sessions integrate coaching and teaching methods.

The development scheme can be delivered intensively over 3 months or spread over a 12 month period as desired. There is an initial introductory session in which objectives and outcomes are discussed and agreed. This includes the best and most practical process for the individual including when, where and how the sessions and learning will be undertaken. Telephone conferencing and interactive tutorials can be used if more practical than face to face activity.
