CS0327 Introduction to Advanced Life Support - Adult
This study day is available to practitioners (nurses, paramedics, therapists, medical staff, emergency and urgent care practitioners) working within adult health care settings (pre-hospital, urgent care centres & hospitals) where advanced life support skills might be required. The study day is an introduction to all aspects of advanced life support and gives a preparation for those wishing to undertake the Resuscitation Council ALS programme. The day is dynamic and fun and includes theory and skills based practice to sharpen your practice, build your confidence and competence in relation to Resuscitation Guidelines, airway management, arrhythmias, drug therapy and the management of cardiac arrest.Each session is based on current guidelines and requires active participation in simulation.
Pre-requisites: Basic life support in last 6 -12 months
