This programme is designed for senior practitioners or those aspiring to undertake band 8, Head of Nursing, Midwifery, Service roles or equivalent. The programme is a ten day intensive immersion programme supported with additional individual leadership feedback through a range of 360 degree methods and executive coaching. The programme harnesses transformational leadership methods, motivational theory and practice, political astuteness, business and commercial acumen, developing stretch targets, generating new workforce techniques, how to manage upwards, assessing capability and capacity, extending executive skills, exploring negotiation skills, organizational culture and power. The programme draws on contemporary thinking and integrates the Leadership Qualities Framework core domains to enhance impact and reform.

Individual skills of developing personal resilience and sustainability are explored through workshop and coaching sessions to promote positive outcomes.
